The athlete’s knee presents some of the most challenging problems in sports medicine. From complex ligament instability to meniscal deficiency and cartilage injury, successful treatment requires a deep understanding of anatomy, biomechanics, and advanced reconstructive techniques.
This immersive two-day course, hosted by AOSSM at the Arthrex Headquarters in Naples, Florida, is designed to equip surgeons with cutting-edge strategies for evaluating and managing complex knee injuries in athletes. Through focused didactic sessions and extensive hands-on cadaveric lab experience, participants will gain practical insight into joint preservation, ligament reconstruction, meniscal procedures, and articular cartilage restoration.
Case-based learning and panel discussions will focus on tips and tricks to avoid complications and optimize outcomes. Learners will leave with enhanced confidence and technical skills to navigate the most demanding knee cases—from on-field decisions to surgical management and return to play.
