This upcoming surgical skills course will take place September 18–19, 2026, at Smith + Nephew in Andover, Massachusetts. This hands-on course will focus on current controversies and emerging techniques in the management of the non-arthritic hip, led by an expert faculty of nationally recognized hip surgeons.
Labs- For the 2026 Hip Course, lab sessions will be divided into two groups: Group A and Group B. During registration, you will be required to select one group. Please note that space is limited and only one group may be chosen.
- Group A participants will arrive on Thursday evening, September 17 (course begins for Group A at 9 a.m. on Friday September 18) and will depart Saturday, September 19 at any time after 11 a.m. (course concludes for Group A at 9:15 a.m. Saturday)
- Group B participants will arrive on Friday, September 18 by 4 p.m. (course begins for Group B at 4:45 p.m. on Friday September 18) and will depart Saturday, September 19 any time after 5 p.m. (course concludes for Group B at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday September 19)

Registration Cancellation Policy
Registrations are eligible for a refund, minus a $200 cancellation fee, if a written request is submitted to education@aossm.org on or before August 18, 2026. After August 18, 2026, specimens and equipment for the event will have been purchased based on registration numbers. Therefore, registrations and cancellations received after this date are non-refundable. If you are eligible for a refund, please allow 3-5 business days from the date of your cancellation request for processing. All refunds will be issued to the original form of payment.
